1. Please Check Before Using the Service
This operational policy explains the rules and guidelines for using the DaTalk service provided by April7 Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). It is designed to handle various situations that may arise during service use in a fair and equitable manner. Please make sure to understand this policy, as non-compliance can result in disadvantages such as account restrictions or service limitations.
Terms not specifically defined in this policy follow the DaTalk Terms of Service and recommendations.
The Company continually strives to improve and enhance service-related policies by considering user feedback. Changes to this policy will be announced at least 3 days in advance through the notice board.
2. Purpose of the Operational Policy
The Company operates the service based on this policy to ensure smooth and enjoyable usage for all users.
If you experience any inconvenience or harm due to other users violating the policy, you can report it. The Company will review such reports and take appropriate actions in accordance with this policy.
Additionally, the Company may take action if violations of relevant laws, terms of use, or this policy are found during monitoring, even without user reports. However, the Company may not intervene in disputes between users or issues caused by individual carelessness.
If disciplinary actions are taken due to policy violations, the Company will try to notify the user through push notifications, emails, or in-app messages. In urgent cases or where notification is not possible, exceptions may apply. Note that the Company is not obligated to inform the reporter of the review results.
If you are dissatisfied with actions taken based on the terms of service, recommendations, or this policy, you can submit complaints or appeals through customer service. The Company will respond within 10 business days after reviewing the submission.
3. Prohibited Activities
① Prohibited Activities for Account Creation and Use
1.
Using someone else's personal information (authentication info) or devices to create, use, or delete an account
2.
Creating, using, or deleting an account if under 18 years old
3.
Using the system for personal profit, commercial, promotional, or malicious purposes, or creating, using, or deleting accounts abnormally
4.
Accessing or using the service in a way that disrupts or destroys the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
5.
Selling, transferring, lending, or allowing others to use your account
6.
Attempting to purchase, acquire, or exchange others' accounts or introducing such actions to others
7.
Deceiving others to steal their accounts
8.
Creating or deleting multiple accounts in a way that cannot be considered normal service use
② Prohibited Activities During Service Use
1.
Promoting or advertising illegal sites or sites not agreed upon with DaTalk
2.
Selling, buying, or requesting game items, points, accounts, or other digital content
3.
Selling or advertising illegal products or items banned on the internet
4.
Providing information that encourages or helps commit illegal acts
5.
Installing or distributing malware or viruses to disrupt service use
6.
Disrupting or destroying the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
7.
Stealing, distributing, or trading others' personal information
8.
Sharing others' copyrighted materials without permission or providing information on how to obtain them illegally
9.
Infringing on others' trademark rights, design rights, etc., without permission
10.
Registering or sharing nicknames, profiles, or images that depict excessive nudity or sexual acts
11.
Sharing information related to prostitution
12.
Posting content that causes sexual discomfort or disgust to others
13.
Providing or expressing intentions to provide materials that exploit others sexually
14.
Threatening, luring, or conspiring to exploit others sexually
15.
Posting content that degrades human dignity or incites violence, discrimination, or prejudice based on origin, race, appearance, disability, socioeconomic status, religion, age, gender, sexual identity, or sexual orientation
16.
Encouraging or aiding in suicide or joint suicide
17.
Repeatedly registering the same content in the same or different services
18.
Registering or sending commercial content to others' profiles or chatrooms without their explicit consent
19.
Impersonating the service name, company employees, or operators to deceive others or gain benefits
20.
Using vulgar language, slang, or expressions against common sense and social norms
21.
Posting false articles by impersonating media outlets or their positions
22.
Using unauthorized methods to disrupt the normal operation of the service
23.
Mentioning, posting, or referring to competitor or similar industry-related companies
24.
Registering contact information or indirectly leading others to use different social media or apps
25.
Registering or sending profiles, chats, or images that suggest unauthorized group meetings, clubs, or impromptu gatherings
26.
Registering or sending profiles or images related to financial gains or losses, such as money, investments, or real estate
27.
Posting vulgar criticisms, profanity, unverified facts, or other inappropriate expressions in response to service suggestions or complaints
28.
Registering or sending unethical or immoral profiles or images that can identify or attack others
29.
Registering or sending nicknames, profiles, or images that appear to belong to minors
30.
Engaging in activities related to chatting, photo sharing, SNS or contact information exchange in exchange for points
31.
Registering or sending the contents of conversations with others or profiles of others in profiles or images
32.
Registering or sending profiles or images that imply obscenity, gambling, violence, or antisocial meanings by omitting subjects, objects, nouns, or verbs
33.
Registering or sending profiles or images for personal profit, such as gift certificates, monetary requests, job offers, job searches, or sales and purchases of goods
4. If Your Account and Service Use Are Restricted
If your activities violate relevant laws, terms, recommendations, or Article 3 of this policy, the Company may restrict your account and service use to protect other users and create a healthy and pleasant environment. Even if activities are not specified in the policy, the Company may restrict service use if they negatively impact the service environment or inconvenience other users. Restriction periods range from 1st (6 hours), 2nd (1 day), 3rd (7 days), to permanent restrictions based on the severity and frequency of violations. In cases of severe impact, immediate and permanent restrictions may be applied regardless of the violation's severity and frequency.

① Account Use Restrictions

If violations of relevant laws, terms, or policies are found during account creation or use, account creation, use, and deletion may be restricted.
2.
If abnormal attempts to create, use, or delete accounts are detected, account use and deletion may be restricted, or account creation may be limited to prevent further abnormal activities. If necessary, the account may be deleted, and re-registration may be restricted.
3.
Restrictions range from temporary (1st, 2nd, 3rd) to permanent but can be immediate and permanent.
4.
If unauthorized attempts to use the account are detected, additional verification procedures, such as phone number verification, may be required.
5.
To prevent unauthorized use, regularly manage your phone and devices to avoid theft, hacking, or misuse. The Company is not responsible for damages or disadvantages due to careless device management, and the responsibility lies with the user.
② Service Use Restrictions
1.
If violations of relevant laws, terms, or policies are found during service use, the use of that specific service may be restricted.
2.
Restrictions range from temporary (1st, 2nd, 3rd) to permanent but can be immediate and permanent.
3.
If violations are detected, profiles may be restricted or deleted, and access to DaTalk may be partially or fully restricted to prevent further violations.
5. Dormant Account Policy
According to the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, if you do not use the service for a certain period, your personal information will be destroyed, and the service contract will be terminated.
① DaTalk Users
1.
If you do not use your DaTalk account for one year, your personal information will be destroyed, and the service contract will be terminated.
2.
Deletion and termination will be notified to the registered phone number one month before conversion to a dormant state.
6. Point Reward Policy
1.
Free Points: Free points obtained through service use and events cannot be recovered or reissued under any circumstances.
2.
Restrictions and Unavailability: If your service use is restricted due to violations of laws, terms, recommendations, or policies, points cannot be recovered, reissued, refunded, or compensated.
3.
Using Paid Points: Paid points purchased through app stores cannot be recovered or reissued if used normally, except in cases of account theft (hacking), malfunctions, or errors.
4.
Account Theft: If points are lost or consumed due to account theft, only paid points will be recovered or reissued, excluding free points.
5.
Proof of Account Theft: To request point recovery due to account theft, the Company's database will be used for verification, and users must provide objective evidence for compensation.
6.
Proof of Malfunctions and Errors: To request point recovery due to malfunctions or errors, the Company's database and client records will be used for verification, and users must provide objective evidence for compensation.
7.
User Negligence: Points cannot be recovered, reissued, or transferred to a new account if lost due to user negligence, such as not updating phone numbers or completing verification.
8.
Paid Point Usage Period: Paid points have no usage period and do not expire automatically, but they will expire one year after purchase.
9.
Creating a New Account: If a new account is created for personal reasons, points from the old account will not be transferred and will remain associated with the old account.
10.
Withdrawal and Refund: Refer to the detailed terms of service for information on withdrawal, refund, in-app purchases, and usage periods of paid content.
7. Policy for Protecting Customer Service Representatives' Rights
① The following actions are prohibited to protect the rights of customer service representatives:
1.
Temporarily or continuously using abusive language, sexual harassment, personal insults, or threats during 1:1 inquiries, phone consultations, or in-person consultations
2.
Using abusive language, sexual harassment, personal insults, or threats unrelated to service use during 1:1 inquiries, phone consultations, or in-person consultations
3.
Other actions that cause severe mental harm to representatives and disrupt 1:1 inquiries, phone consultations, or in-person consultations
② Service Use Restrictions for Violating Customer Service Representatives' Rights:
1.
1st: Warning and suspension of responses to 1:1 inquiries, phone consultations, or in-person consultations containing abusive or offensive content
2.
2nd: 7-day restriction on all service use
3.
3rd: 15-day restriction on all service use
4.
4th: 30-day restriction on all service use
5.
If repeated violations occur from multiple accounts connected through the same IP, authentication information, or device information, the restrictions applied to the previously used account will be extended to other accounts.
6.
Depending on the severity of the violation, increased restrictions may be applied immediately without gradual steps, and legal actions such as complaints or lawsuits may be taken.
7.
Users will bear all disadvantages resulting from restrictions due to violations of customer service representatives' rights.
